Craps casino game is played with two dice, each with a face value of 1 through 6. Your goal in this game is to predict the total value of the two dice when they land. You'll get a payout for every round you guess right, which will be according to your wager and the type of bet you made.

How to play a thrilling game of Live Craps

Here’s how to play craps by Evolution: start with the game's two phases, which are the come-out phase and the point roll phase.

During the come-out phase, you can bet pass or don't pass wagers. The game moves to the point roll phase if the results are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10.

During the Point roll phase, the dealer continues to roll the dice until a face value of 7 appears. It’s also good to note that Point roll bets in this craps game aren’t settled during the first roll. These are called Multi-roll bets because they stay on the table until everything has been resolved.

Below is a sample situation on playing Live Craps:

    1. Players click on a game and join a table where they must make the initial bet before the dealer starts rolling the dice.

    2. Once all bets have been entered, no guest can make bets and the dealer proceeds to roll.

    3. In this instance, let’s say your bet is a pass bet in craps and the dice land with a total value of 7.

    4. Your last bet was successful, so you should see it reflected in your wallet.

In this section, we explain the two bet categories you can make in craps: multi-roll and one-roll bets.

    Single Roll Bets

You can bet on any roll of the dice. If 2, 3 or 12 comes up, you win and are paid 7 to 1. If any other number is rolled, you lose. This is known as a one-roll bet.

Single or one roll bets are the easiest introduction to the game and count for one roll of the dice. If the dice lands on 2, 3 or 12, you will win and get paid out. If the dice lands on any other numbers, you’ll lose the throw and have to wager again.

With Craps Evolution, there are plenty of easy single roll wagers that will take you straight into the heart of the action. Single bets can be placed at any time online with the click of a button and carry with them strong chances of winning. You don’t have to be an expert by any measure to stake these bets and the outcome is based on your overall luck for the most part.

    Multi-roll bets

These are wagers made that are usually settled only after a few rolls of the dice. Multi-roll bets  differ from table to table and may only be resolved once the dice has been rolled a certain number of times. Craps Evolution has several multi-roll bets that are easier to play than the traditional table

    Some examples include:

    The “Win” Multi-Roll Bet

Next to each number (i.e. 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10), there’s a section titled WIN. Placing a bet on that field means you believe that number will be rolled before the number 7 will be rolled. If this isn’t the case, you’ll lose the bet for this round.

    The “Lose” Multi-Roll Bet

This is the inverse of the Multi-Roll Bet. Next to each Number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) there is a section titled LOSE. Placing a bet on that field means you believe that the number 7 will be rolled before this number will be rolled.

    The Hardway Multi-Roll Bet

This bet ensures that 4, 6, 8 or 10 is rolled and secured with a pair. For example, 8 can be secured by rolling two fours where you’ll win if this happens. However, If 8 is rolled with any other combination (2+6) you’ll lose the game. The hard way payout is dependent on the odds. Rolling a 4 with two twos pays out 7:1. Rolling a 6 with two threes pays out 9:1 etc.

Now that you understand the rules of the game, let’s move into some of the unique features of Evolution Craps. Starting with the ability to play with easy mode.

    Easy Mode Game Play

If you’re new to craps and are looking to understand the basics before going full tilt into harder variations, then Craps Evolution is the game for you! Simply put, the Easy Mode feature allows you to play the game with fewer bet spots. All you have to do is select this feature from the drop-down menu on the game and the user interface will automatically change and update to display a smaller betting grid where only the easiest bet spots are available.

This is especially helpful to avoid playing the Come Out roll and Point roll, two notoriously difficult bet types that are usually reserved for more seasoned players.

If you’re still not too sure of the rules and strategies at play, then you can access an easy to use Craps Evolution tutorial, courtesy of Evolution Gaming.

    Tutorial Mode

This fully interactive craps tutorial will provide the basics of the game and give you all the help that you need to fully understand and master the game. Get to grips with what the different bets do, including the resulting payouts and what you need to win the hand. From there, select the result you are looking for in the number display, and this, in turn, will simulate a throw of the dice, where you can gauge the results of the throw-in real-time.

    Moving on to the...

    Number Feature

Unique to Craps Evolution, the Numbers feature is an easy to use system that will give you the advantage you need when playing craps live or online. Each number will display and represent a possible total from the throw of the dice. The display will show the number you need to win together with the resulting possible payouts that will come from hitting it. As you place your bet the corresponding number for that bet will be shown together with potential payouts if that total is rolled. The display board is interactive and updated in real-time, meaning you will always see how much you can win as you continue to place your bets within the grid. Additionally, when you hover over a certain number, the matching bet spots will highlight themselves on the betting grid. Clicking on a number places a bet on all the coinciding bet spots for this number, and this is all done instantly, at the click of a single button.

Last but not least, Craps Evolution has introduced an exciting statistics board that updates in real-time during live studio sessions.

    Dynamic Statistics

The Dynamic Statistics board is hung up on the wall of the Craps Evolution studio and allows players to follow their progress and that of their opponents. This board is constantly updating as the game progresses, all the while tracking and displaying which bets are being placed by which player. The board includes a section for Top Numbers and Popular Bets whereby the top five dice total results are shown on the board in order to track where the most players have placed their bets. The excitement builds as you get to see in real-time what the other players are doing and keeps the adrenalin at an all-time high.
